@jenveltsos That's a fair point. I think the amount/quality of critical thinking taught is undervalued, or even not recognized at all.

@julie_stella I think we have a good program, too. But the public faces of MSU have no idea what I do or how our students evaluate quality.

@jenveltsos I would rate my degree from MNSU better quality than my BA--which was from a small private college in St. Paul.

@jenveltsos As well, there *is* a selection of low-quality online classes out there. And, it's hard for the average person not to generalize
